<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sintered ore, by which both the production rate of a sintering machine and the yield of sintered ore can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for producing sintered ore, char produced by thermal decomposition of low grade coal is used as a setting material in a sintering machine. The low grade coal is coal having a volatile matter content of 30 mass% or more and 51 mass% or less, and an average combustion speed of the char is 1.05 times or more and 1.22 times or less relative to that of powdery coke. It is preferable that a volatile matter content of the char is 5 mass% or less, and the char is substituted with the powdery coke to be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
