<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system, and charge and discharge unit, capable of improving power supply capacity during power failure, using a plurality of distributed power supplies as a power supply source used during power failure of a commercial power supply. <P>SOLUTION: A charge and discharge unit 14 includes a plurality of rectification circuits DB1-DB3 that rectify respective AC outputs of distributed power supply units 12A-12C; a power factor improvement unit PF that is connected with respective rectification outputs of the rectification circuits DB1-DB3 and includes a power factor improvement circuit for converting rectification outputs of the rectification circuits DB1-DB3 into a predetermined direct current for outputting; a backflow prevention circuit DU that prevents an electric current from passing from an output path of the power factor improvement unit PF into the power factor improvement circuit; and a charge circuit J that charges a storage battery unit 13 using a DC output of the power factor improvement unit PF supplied through the backflow prevention circuit DU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
