<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone dust collecting device equipped with a dust compression means for applying a pressing force to a mixture of the grit and dust collected separately by a plurality of separating parts. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a compression plate 20 axially moving up and down in a dust collecting chamber 2. An introductory hole 18 made in part of an upper wall of the dust collecting chamber 2, a closed space communicating with a secondary filter part 4 connected with a downstream of the swirl chamber 1 are provided. An opening on the dust collecting chamber side of the introductory hole 18 is closable with part of a top surface of the compression plate 20. Thereby, at the time when the compression plate 20 is moved down after falling the fine dust separated by the secondary filter part 4 into the introductory hole 18, the fine dust is made to slide down to the coarse dust side under the compression plate 20 so that a mixture of the coarse dust with the fine dust can be reduced in volume by compression. Thus the coarse and fine dusts can be reduced by compression in a state intertwining with each other, and therefore, it is possible to provide a cleanly, user-friendly vacuum cleaner, since the fine dust does not fly in all directions at dust throw-away work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
