摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a flat plate or strip shape of a rolling material by directly reading and controlling an active element from shape data. <P>SOLUTION: The shape control method for a rolling object using a cluster mill, which has, at upper and lower positions, backup rolls having division rolls severally divided in the axial direction, each division roll being adjusted in roll gap individually or symmetrically relative to the plate width-directional center of a rolling material, includes: detecting a rolling-directional elongation of the rolling object by a shape detector provided on the outlet side of the mill as a plate shape; dividing each shape detection point in the plate-width direction of the rolling object into a plurality of zones according to the layout of the division rolls; performing weighting of an operation amount of each division roll on a shape deviation of each zone; calculating, for each zone, a rolling reduction amount or open amount of the backup rolls based on the detection value of the shape detector; outputting the roll gap of the backup rolls based on the calculated value to correct the elongation of the rolling object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
