<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference between moving bodies with a simple configuration when the moving bodies convey a plate and a substrate, respectively, in a printing apparatus which transfers a pattern layer formed by pattering a coating layer carried by a carrier, such as a blanket, with the plate, to the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A conveying device 2 includes a reciprocal moving body 25L for plate that can move while supporting the plate between a plate receiving position XP21 and a plate holding plate XP23, a reciprocal moving body 25R for substrate that can move while supporting the substrate between a substrate receiving position XP25 and a substrate holding position XP23, and a driving mechanism 22 which moves both moving bodies 25L, 25R in one body. The driving mechanism 22 moves both the moving bodies 25L, 25R in a first direction, to position them at the plate receiving position XP21 and substrate holding position XP 23, and moving both the moving bodies 25L, 25R in a second direction opposite the first direction to position them at the plate holding position XP23 and substrate receiving position XP25, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
