<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck teardrop cargo box that ensures sealing property of a truck cargo box and facilitates loading and unloading, while reducing travel resistance, thereby improving fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: Gate frames 2 are provided at front and rear ends of a teardrop cargo box formed by raising and curving a roof along a longitudinal direction to heighten the middle. The front and rear ends of inner edges of right and left wing roofs 3, 3 constituting the roof and the side of the box are pivotally attached to an upper frame of the gate frame 2 so as to be vertically turnable, at a distance two or more times the height of the bulge of the roof. The inner edges of the wing roofs 3, 3 are connected to each other for shielding via a flexible elastic member 5, thereby ensuring sealing property and facilitating loading and unloading using the wing roofs 3, 3, while reducing the travel resistance to improve fuel economy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
