PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a larger biocompatible transparent sheet than a conventional one without causing defects such as warpage, crack, etc., in a high success probability.SOLUTION: The method for producing a biocompatible transparent sheet includes: a membrane formation step of forming a biocompatible ceramic membrane 2 on a substrate containing a removable part in an environment to maintain the membrane; a removal step of removing the membrane-formed substrate in the environment to obtain a biocompatible ceramic membrane; a storage step of storing the biocompatible ceramic membrane, in a state in which at least one surface of upper and lower surfaces of the membrane is covered with biocompatible ceramic powder 3, in a heat-resistant container constituted of a material to be hardly thermally deformed; a heat-treatment step of heat-treating the heat-resistant container in which the biocompatible ceramic membrane and the biocompatible ceramic powder are stored; and a taking-out step of taking out the heat-treated biocompatible transparent sheet 4 from the heat-resistant container. |
