<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impact when the tip end of a recording medium enters a second transfer position and suppress splashing of the rear end of the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a conveyance member for conveying a recording medium to a second transfer position; a transfer member for transferring an image which is transferred to the second transfer position by a transfer body to the recording medium which is conveyed to the second transfer position by the conveyance member; a first guide member which is disposed between the conveyance member and the transfer member and guides the recording medium facing a non-transfer surface of the recording medium; and a second guide member which is rotatably disposed between the conveyance member and the transfer member so as to rotate around the axis in the width direction of the recording medium, guides the recording medium facing a transfer surface of the recording medium and rotates between a first position in which the downstream side part in the conveyance direction of a recording medium to the rotation center is along the transfer body and a second position in which the upstream side in the conveyance direction of a recording medium to the rotation center approaches the recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
