<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm wheel which is reduced in size and weight with high strength, and is excellent in damping effect of gear rattle with reduced cost. <P>SOLUTION: The worm wheel 8 includes: a metallic tooth forming portion 15; a metallic shaft 14; and a synthetic resin-made resin portion 16 connecting the tooth forming portion 15 and the shaft 14. The resin portion 16 includes a second annular portion 22 bonded to the shaft 14, a third annular portion 23 holding the tooth forming portion 14, and a disk portion 41 interposed between the second and third annular portions 22, 23.
