摘要 The invention provides a line-shaped light source device for reading images, wherein a light guide body is shortened without reducing the effective irradiation width so as to adjust the light distribution of the light guide body. The line-shaped light source device serves as an original document reading device used for reading the original document reflection light from an original. The line-shaped light source device comprises rod-shaped light guide body formed by a light transmissive member, and an LED light source arranged on at least one end portion of the light guide body. The side surface of the light guide body is provided with a main reflection part extending along the length direction and a light emergent surface opposite to the main reflection part. The light reflected by the main reflection part is irradiated to the original side through the light emergent surface. At least one end portion of the light guide body is provided with a light incident surface used for receiving the light from the LED light source, and an inclined surface inclined relative to the light incident surface. The inclined surface and the light incident surface are adjacent to each other. The inclined surface is provided with an auxiliary reflector portion used for reflecting the light of the LED light source. The auxiliary reflector portion is used for reflecting the light on the inclined surface to the original side.
