1. An optic, comprising
a lens body, comprising a light input interface configured to receive light generated by a light source, said light input interface having a rippled surface comprising a plurality of periodic surface oscillations exhibiting an oscillation amplitude of at least about 10 microns, through which at least a portion of the received light enters the lens body, an output surface through which light exits the lens body, and a peripheral surface configured to receive at least a portion of the light entering the lens body via said rippled surface and to redirect at least a portion of said received light to the output surface via total internal reflection, so as to provide an output beam having a far-field chromaticity with a variation less than about 0.001 across a far-field plane perpendicular to a propagation axis of said output beam. |
