PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-out detector for detecting step-out of a motor.SOLUTION: A determination unit 4 determines whether or not a step-out determination inequality, derived by using the range of a phase angle when a motor 2 rotates without stepping out, in the voltage equation of the motor 2 in a rotating coordinate, and not including the phase angle, but including a current i,i, revolving speed ω1 and voltage Vas variables, and including the resistance of an armature winding 22 and the inductance of the motor 2 as apparatus constants, is satisfied based on the revolving speed, the voltage and the current, and detects step-out of the motor 2 when the step-out determination inequality is not satisfied. |
