<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of performing automatic analysis processing more steadily than before by accurately determining whether a moving unit has moved to a desired position. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer comprises: a plurality of reagent containers respectively storing a reagent; a plurality of reaction containers; a reagent arm which performs a sucking process in which it sucks reagent from a reagent container selected from the plurality of reagent containers and a discharge process in which it discharges it into a reaction container selected from the plurality of reaction container; a moving mechanism which moves the reagent arm as a moving unit in response to a drive signal supplied to it to a predetermined position among a first position where the sucking process is performed, a second position where the discharge process is performed, a third position which corresponds to a washing position when washing of a probe of the reagent arm is performed, and a fourth position as a reference position of the reagent arm; and a determination unit which determines whether the reagent arm has moved to the first position, the second position, the third position or the fourth position after the reagent arm has been moved by the moving mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
