<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence informing system of a vehicle, capable of enhancing safety by making an informing sound to a vicinity of a vehicle with quiet running noise, such as of a hybrid vehicle, electric vehicle and fuel-cell vehicle and informing pedestrians of presence or approach of such a vehicle and maintaining cabin comfortability without causing the degradation or making surrounding pedestrians or a driver and occupants in the vehicle feel a sense of incompatibility. <P>SOLUTION: On the housing of an inverter I used in a drive circuit for driving an electric motor M, there are mounted a contact pickup device 3 that converts captured vibration into an electric signal; an amplifier 5 that amplifies an electric signal output from the contact pickup device 3; and an informing sound generator 2 that outputs a sound to the vicinity of the vehicle on the basis of an electric signal output from the amplifier 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
