<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice communication device that makes it possible for an opposite receiver to easily listen to received voice. <P>SOLUTION: A voice communication device according to the invention comprises: an ambient noise estimation unit which estimates an ambient noise level in a transmission signal taking a receiver of an opposite voice communication device into consideration; and a transmission volume adjustment unit which adjusts the sound volume of the transmission signal depending on the estimated ambient noise level.
