PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more useful mat switch which is equipped with additional functions by enabling an upper sheet to be provided with various kinds of industrial designs, without impairing its original switching function performed by the placement of a foot, passage of a wheelchair and so forth.SOLUTION: A mat switch comprises: a lower sheet 1; a flexible upper sheet 2; and a switch element 3 arranged between the lower sheet 1 and the upper sheet 2. The upper sheet 2 comprises: a lower sheet member 6 made of an elastic material; and an upper sheet member 7 made of synthetic resin and arranged on the lower sheet member 6.
