PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately detect allowable current of a battery in consideration of influence by an increase in internal resistance according to the deterioration state of a battery.SOLUTION: In an allowable current arithmetic unit 302, a correction unit 1701A compares allowable charging current Imax_chg1 from a first allowable current arithmetic unit 703 calculated on the basis of voltage of a battery pack 110 with allowable charging current Imax_chg2 from a second allowable current arithmetic unit 704 calculated without using the voltage of the battery pack 110, and performs prescribed correction processing on the basis of the comparison results. A correction unit 1701B compares allowable discharging current Imax_dis1 from the first allowable current arithmetic unit 703 with allowable discharging current Imax_dis2 from the second allowable current arithmetic unit 704, and performs prescribed correction processing on the basis of the comparison results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
