PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a communication time when a first FAX device transmits an image data signal to a second FAX device at a low communication speed, as compared with a FAX device which transmits an image data signal at a general low communication speed.SOLUTION: A FAX device 10 includes: a control unit 11 which controls the execution of various processing; a storage unit 12; an image reading unit 14 which reads a content described on paper, and stores the content into the storage unit 12 as image data; a communication unit 15 which transmits the image data stored in the storage unit 12 to a communication signal line 16 as an image data signal; and an operation display unit 13 which receives inputs of various information, including various instructions, from a user, and displays the various information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
