PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an address book updating process by a slave device even when access to the address book is subjected to exclusive control by a master device.SOLUTION: The present invention is an image formation system 300, configured by connecting a master device 100 and a plurality of slave devices 200a-c, for updating the local address book data of the slave devices 200a-c on the basis of the master address book data of the master device 100, wherein, when there is an address book update request from the slave device 200a to the master device 100, and the master device 100 cannot respond to the update request, the master device 100 responds to the slave device 200a to the effect that the address book update request be made to the other slave device 200b that is updated to the latest master address book data, and the slave device 200a performs an update process on the basis of the local address book data stored in the other slave device 200b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
