PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a functional film having good interlayer adhesiveness, capable of preventing interference fringes, and having excellent production efficiency.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a functional film comprises forming two or more functional layers on at least one and the same surface of a transparent substrate by applying and curing a functional layer coating liquid comprising an ionization radiation-curable resin composition. All of the functional layers are formed in such a manner that: functional layers adjoining to each other in the two or more functional layers are continuously formed in an in-line system; in each step of forming the functional layer, the layer is irradiated with ionization radiation; and the total X of doses of the ionization radiation and a dose Xα of ionization radiation upon forming the last functional layer satisfy expression (1) 0.55≤Xα/X≤0.95.SELECTED DRAWING: None
