PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy management system and a power supply/demand plan optimization method capable of securely and stably calculating a supply/demand plan even when a micro grid includes an apparatus having nonlinearity.SOLUTION: An energy management system 20 comprises a supply/demand plan calculation unit 22a for calculating a supply/demand plan by solving an optimization problem on an objective function that is an index for optimization and a narrowly-defined convex function. The supply/demand plan calculation unit calculates the supply/demand plan by solving a relaxation problem considering only a convex constraint condition of constraint conditions including the convex constraint condition and a non-convex constraint condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
