PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operation of a projector to which power is supplied, according to the amount of power which can be supplied from a battery.SOLUTION: A projector 200 that is driven by power supplied from an automobile 100 having a battery 110, comprises: a power input unit 210 that receives power from the automobile 100; a projection unit 280 that consumes the received power so as to display an image; a communication unit 230 that obtains storage amount information about the storage amount of a battery 110; and a control unit 240 that controls the display operation of the projection unit 280 on the basis of the obtained storage amount information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
