PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element array chip capable of increasing a margin in arrangement in mounting the light emitting element array chip on a board.SOLUTION: A light emitting element array chip includes a plurality of light emitting element groups arranged therein, each of the light emitting element groups including N light emitting elements (N is a natural number) arranged in a sub-scanning direction. The light emitting element array chip includes: a first light emitting element group block where the plurality of light emitting element groups are arranged with a predetermined first interval therebetween to each other in a main scanning direction; and a second light emitting element group block where one or more light emitting element groups on one end side of the light emitting element array chip are arranged to be shifted in the sub-scanning direction by a predetermined second interval from a reference position that is a position of each light emitting element group of the first light emitting element group block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
