PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a speckle pattern with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: There is provided a screen for image light projection having a birefringent material layer comprising a birefringent material with a certain thickness on a substrate, where the birefringent material layer includes a plurality of areas where a slow axis of the birefringent material is parallel to a surface of the substrate in plan view and is aligned in the thickness direction; the width in at least one direction of the area in plan view is 50 μm or less; the phase difference and/or direction of the slow axis of the adjacent plurality of areas are different from each other relative to incident light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
