PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a vehicle and an on-vehicle apparatus capable of opening or closing a vehicle door by moving a portable machine through a prescribed route even in a constitution where the portable machine does not have an acceleration sensor.SOLUTION: A communication system for a vehicle includes an on-vehicle apparatus 1 transmitting a position detection signal, and a portable machine 2 receiving the position detection signal and transmitting a response signal in accordance with the position detection signal. The on-vehicle apparatus 1 includes a specification section for specifying a position change of the portable machine 2 to a vehicle C on the basis of the received response signal, a storage section for storing a prescribed position change of the portable machine 2 to the vehicle C, a comparison section for comparing the position change specified by the specification section and the prescribed position change stored by the storage section, and an output section for outputting a door open instruction signal for instructing to automatically open a vehicle door or a door close instruction signal for instructing to automatically close the vehicle door in response to a comparison result of the comparison section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
