PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing capable of actualizing good grease lubrication over a long period while preventing occurrence of partial wear on the outer peripheral face of a cage.SOLUTION: A ball bearing 1 includes an inner ring 2 having an inner ring raceway surface 11 on the outer periphery, an outer ring 3 having an outer ring raceway surface 15 on the inner periphery, a plurality of balls 4 arranged between the inner and outer ring raceway surfaces 11, 15, and a cage 5. The cage 5 has a plurality of pocket holes 27. The inner periphery of the outer ring 3 abuts on an outer peripheral face 28 of the cage to guide the outer diameter of the cage 5. In the outer ring raceway surface 15 on the inner periphery of the outer ring 3, a grease storage groove 20 is formed only at one side in an axial direction X. The grease storage groove 20 is communicated with the outer ring raceway surface 15. An edge 40 on the one side in the axial direction X of the grease storage groove 20 is flush with the end on the one side in the axial direction X of a peripheral wall 30 of each pocket hole 27 with respect to the axial direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
