PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device that allows a driver who gets on or gets off a vehicle to move easily his/her legs and utilize a rim part of a steering wheel as an assist grip.SOLUTION: A steering device 10 comprises: a steering wheel 12 that has a boss part 22, a rim part 24 formed independently from the boss part 22 and a supporting part 28 that supports the rim part 24 rotatably relative to the boss part 22 with a rotary shaft as a center, which extends in a vehicle width direction at a position, below an upper end of the rim part 24 and above a lower end of the rim part 24, in a predetermined state; a lock part 14 that holds, in an inclined state at the time of steering, an inclined state of the rim part 24 which is varied by rotating the rim part 24 relative to the boss part 22 with the rotary shaft as the center; and a rotation inhibiting part 16 that inhibits rotation of the rim part 24 from exceeding a predetermined inclination when changing the inclination of the rim part 24 to rearward in a vehicle longitudinal direction from the inclination at the time of steering in the predetermined state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
