PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of highly securing certainty of expansion order and inflation-expansion when inflating-expanding by delaying a sub-chamber in a time limit state after a main bag inflates and expands.SOLUTION: Side base cloth 15 is provided with a vent hole 15a existing in an always opening state and a vent hole 15b for making a pressure fluid flow in a sub-chamber 12, and a tether 13 is provided with a vent cover 13c for opening-closing the vent hole 15b. In the initial stage of inflation-expansion, the vent cover 13c blocks up the vent hole 15b by tension of the tether 13, and checks the inflow of the pressure fluid to the sub-chamber 12, and when restricting an occupant P, the vent cover 13c opens the vent hole 15b by looseness of the tether 13 caused by pressure from the occupant P, and allows the inflow of the pressure fluid to the sub-chamber 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
