PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit component designed to downsize an optical circuit component and simplify an alignment mechanism for connecting an optical fiber and the optical circuit component, and a connection structure of the optical circuit component and the optical fiber.SOLUTION: An optical circuit component 1 has a circuit board 10, a first core 11 formed on the circuit board 10 and configuring an optical waveguide for signal use, and a second core 12 and a third core 13 formed on the circuit board 10 and configuring an optical waveguide for alignment use, and a fourth core 14 configuring an optical waveguide for connecting the second core 12 and the third core 13. One tip of the first core 11, one tip of the second core 12, and one tip of the third core 13 are formed, with the core ends in a row, on one side of the circuit board 10, and the fourth core 14 has a bent section in a portion configured from silicon, the other tip of the second core 12 and the other tip of the third core 13 being connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
