PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device of a scooter type vehicle, in which a catalytic converter in an exhaust muffler is arranged avoiding a concavity for rear wheel recess of a required size and depth so that replacing work of a rear wheel can be performed without removing the exhaust muffler while keeping a satisfactory appearance and avoiding increase of a vehicle body in size.SOLUTION: In an exhaust device of a scooter type vehicle, at the side on the opposite side to a power transmission mechanism (31, 33) arranged on one side of a rear wheel (40), an exhaust muffler (71) equipped with a catalytic converter (90) in the inside is arranged, and at a part in an inner wall (73a) of the exhaust muffler (71) on the rear wheel (40) side, which a rear wheel axle (35) faces, a concavity (73P) for rear wheel recess is formed. In the exhaust device, the catalytic converter (90) is disposed forward of the concavity (73P) for rear wheel recess in the exhaust muffler (71).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
