PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, etc., for estimating a ground height at which it itself is positioned, by using the atmospheric pressure observed by an atmospheric pressure sensor.SOLUTION: The mobile terminal has: atmospheric pressure value acquisition means for acquiring the atmospheric pressure value observed by an atmospheric pressure sensor in correlation to a position and/or time of day; reference atmospheric pressure value determination means for designating, for each prescribed district range and/or prescribed time range, a representative atmospheric pressure value in a plurality of atmospheric pressure values as a reference atmospheric pressure value at ground level; reference atmospheric pressure value accumulation means for storing the reference atmospheric pressure value for each prescribed district range and/or prescribed time range; reference atmospheric pressure value search means for retrieving the reference atmospheric pressure value from the reference atmospheric pressure value accumulation means by using a position and/or time of day of an actually observed atmospheric pressure value; and staying ground height estimation means for estimating, from the actually observed atmospheric pressure value, a ground height, based on the reference atmospheric pressure value, at which the mobile terminal exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
