PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete column allowing the deflection caused in the column to be effectively reduced.SOLUTION: An axial force is applied to a column eccentrically to the centroid of the cross section of the column. A pre-stress is introduced eccentrically to the centroid on the opposite side of the action position to make the eccentric pre-stressed concrete column.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
