PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber paste capable of reducing starch removal while dividing a sizing thread and excellent in making fabric and removal property of sizing agent, a sizing thread and a manufacturing method of fabric capable of simply providing a fabric.SOLUTION: There is provided a fabric paste containing a vinyl alcohol-based polymer (A) with a ratio of a weight average molecular weight (Mw(A)) to a number average molecular weight (Mn(A)) of the vinyl alcohol-based polymer (A) (Mw(A)/Mn(A)) of 3 to 8 and a ratio of a weight average molecular weight (Mw(B)) to a number average molecular weight (Mn(B)) of the vinyl alcohol-based polymer (B) obtained by treating the vinyl alcohol-based polymer (A) in a sodium hydroxide solution at 40°C for 1 hours (Mw(B)/Mn(B)) of 2 or more and less than 3.
