PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld type electric tool with an extension handle and the extension handle for the handheld type electric tool, which allow the work of attaching the extension handle to the handheld type electric tool to be performed easily and quickly.SOLUTION: A handheld type electric tool with an extension handle is equipped with an extension handle 3 detachably attached to a body housing 2 which contains a drive part M for driving a tool part 1 and a drive switch 10 for turing on or off the drive part M. The extension handle 3 is equipped at a tip part with a locking part locked to a locking object part which is provided on the body housing 2, and with a switch press part for turning on the drive switch 10. By relatively moving the extension handle 3 and the body housing 2 in an abutting state, the locking part of the extension handle 3 and the locking object part of the body housing 2 are locked each other, and in the locked state, the switch press part depresses the drive switch 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
