摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always provide favorable observation properties by optimizing the wiping properties and anticlouding properties of the observation window by feeding air and water with respect to a plurality of endoscopes each having a different application site in the body cavity.SOLUTION: The flow velocity of air from a nozzle 24 is adjusted properly by setting the inner diameter d of a tube 39 (inner diameter of an air feed conduit line) depending on the application site of an endoscope 2. If the capacity of a body lumen to which the endoscope 2 is applied is large or if the observation window is easy to cloud in a body lumen to which the endoscope is applied, the inner diameter d of the tube 39 (inner diameter of an air feed conduit line) is made smaller than when the capacity of a body lumen to which the endoscope 2 is applied is small or when the observation window is difficult to cloud in a body lumen to which the endoscope is applied to thereby increase the flow conduit resistance to reduce the flow velocity of the air from a nozzle 24, thus ensuring that the wiping properties to water of the surface of the observation window 20 is reduced to secure the anticlouding properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
