PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that allows an amount of rotation of a rotor and a rotation direction to be highly accurately detected without gigantic increase in an outer diameter.SOLUTION: A magnet is arranged in any one of a cylindrical member 1 and cylindrical member 2 relatively rotating with each other so that an N-polar and an S-polar direct at a direction parallel to an optical axis, and a gigantic magnet resistance effect (GMR) sensor is arranged in the other one thereof and at the same position when viewing from an object side or image pick-up element side. An amount of rotation of a magnetic field is detected, and thereby a relative amount of rotation between the cylindrical member 1 and the cylindrical member 2 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
