摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator capable of unifying the amount of refrigerant flowing in a plurality of refrigerant passages arranged side by side in a width direction of heat exchanging tubes.SOLUTION: An evaporator 1 comprises rows 13 of downstream tubes and rows 14 of upstream tubes composed of a plurality of flat heat exchanging tubes 12. The rows 13 of downstream tubes have a group 13A of descending flow tubes and the rows 14 of upstream tubes have a group 14A of ascending flow tubes. An upper header part 5 of downstream side is provided with an inlet side segment 5a in which refrigerant flows into the heat exchanging tubes 12 of the group 13A of descending flow tubes of the rows 13 of downstream tubes. A lower header part 11 of upstream side is provided with an inlet side segment 11b in which refrigerant flows into the heat exchanging tubes 12 of the group 14A of ascending flow tubes. End portions of the segments inserted into the inlet side segments 5a and 11b at the heat exchanging tubes 12 in the group 13A of descending flow tubes and the group 14A of ascending flow tubes are inclined downward to the upstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
