PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a conventional disaster prevention roof tile having a protrusion for hooking on a tail side, with which securing of tightly engaged state with an engaging part is hindered.SOLUTION: Hooks 4, 4a of a plate roof tile 1 are hooked and fixed on a horizontal rail 11 fixed on a roof substrate W, the plate roof tile having an engaging clip 7 fixed and integrated near a boundary part with an overlap part 3 on a rear surface on a head side of a roof tile body 6. A folded-back part 10 of an elongated and deformed clip body 9 of the engaging clip 7 of the plate roof tile 1 is engaged with an engaged part 15 of the horizontal rail 11, on an upper side in a slanted direction of the roof, resulting in a tightly engaged state brought about by elastic restitutive force of the clip body 9. While maintaining the tightly engaged state, the side with the overlap part 3 on the head side of the roof tile body 6 is pressed down, at the same time pressing down an underlap part 2 of the adjacent roof tile body 6 in a ridge direction from above with the overlap part 3 of the roof tile body 6 that is being pressed down, thus pressing downward a side with the underlap part 2 on the head side. The configuration presses down the head side of the roof tile body 6 overall, when the roof tiles have been laid, preventing floating and looseness of the roof tiles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
