PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PPE-containing liquid article capable of uniform application continuously at room temperature and providing a prepreg good in adhesiveness with a resin component and a substrate, a material for electronic circuit board excellent in electrical characteristic and heat resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyphenylene ether (PPE)-containing liquid article where a resin composition containing PPE (A) is dissolved and dispersed in an organic solvent (B) and the organic solvent (B) has a light transmittance (wavelength of 660 nm and light path length of 10 mm) when it contains the PPE (A) of 3 mass% under a temperature condition of 23°C±2°C of 0.4% to 60% inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None
