PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate the position of an ID originating device, in a technique for providing a service to a user terminal receiving ID information originated from the ID originating device.SOLUTION: A position authentication device for authenticating whether or not an originating device originating an identifier is in a legitimate position includes: positional information storage means for storing the identifier in association with positional information of the originating device; reception means for receiving the positional information of a terminal and the identifier from the terminal that has received the identifier originated by the originating device; and position authentication means for acquiring the positional information of the originating device associated with the identifier from the positional information storage means, calculating the distance between the originating device and the terminal, as a first distance, on the basis of the positional information of the originating device and the positional information of the terminal, and comparing the first distance with a pre-specified distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
