PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus and radiation imaging system capable of reducing power consumption or shortening radiation detection time.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus includes: a first conversion element (S11) for converting a radiation to an electric charge to acquire a radiation image; a first amplifier (111) for outputting voltage depending on the electric charge in the first conversion element; a second conversion element (X1) for converting a radiation to an electric charge to detect irradiation with the radiation; a second amplifier (114) for outputting voltage depending on the electric charge in the second conversion element; and a control circuit (105) for controlling the first and second amplifiers.
