PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a random number generator and a random number generation method capable of improving randomness of a random code.SOLUTION: A random number generator is used for generating a random number sequence and includes a linear feedback shift register circuit, an oscillation circuit, a delay circuit, and a logical operation circuit. The linear feedback shift register circuit receives the random number sequence to generate a plurality of first control signals and a plurality of second control signals. The oscillation circuit receives the first control signal to generate a random clock signal. The delay circuit receives an AC signal and the second control signal to generate a random delay sampling signal. The logical operation circuit receives the random clock signal and the random delay sampling signal to generate the random number sequence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
