PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting appliance with an aiming mechanism which is high in heat dissipation efficiency.SOLUTION: A bracket 4 is fixed to a box body composed of an outer lens 1 and a housing 2 with a fulcrum aiming bolt 31a/nut 31b as an aiming mechanism, a vertical adjustment aiming bolt 32a/nut 32b, and a right-and-left adjustment aiming bolt 33a/nut 33b. A metal base 6 for fixing an optical unit 5 is fixed to the bracket 4. The optical unit 5 is constituted of a light emitting element 51, a reflector 52 and an inner lens 53. A heat absorption part (evaporation part) of a heat pipe 7 is inserted into the metal base 6, and on the other hand, a heat dissipation part (condensing part) of the heat pipe 7 is fit into a protrusive pedestal 8 provided at the housing 2. Heat which is generated at the light emitting element 51 is dissipated to the outside of the housing 2 via the metal base 6, the heat pipe 7 and the pedestal 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
