PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform design about a solid state imaging apparatus such as a CMOS image sensor.SOLUTION: Provided is a solid state imaging apparatus which includes: a pixel array section in which a plurality of pixels having a photoelectric conversion element are two-dimensionally arranged in a matrix; and a sensor circuit unit which is arranged on one side of a two-dimensional pixel region in the pixel array section and includes a pixel scanning section for scanning the pixels in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction.
