PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device and a plant cultivation method for raising plants while suppressing deviation in the shapes of the plants.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation system 10 comprises a cultivation bed 11 extending in a vertical direction. A plurality of attaching parts 13 arranged vertically and horizontally are provided for the cultivation bed 11. A cylindrical body 16 is internally fitted into each attaching part 13. The cylindrical body 16 holds culture medium 15 in which a plant 20 is planted. A gear is formed on an outer periphery of each cylindrical body 16, and the gear is connected to a power transmission part 17a arranged in a vertical direction. The power transmission part 17a is connected to an integrated control unit 30 via a power transmission crank and a motor M1. The integrated control unit 30, by operating the motor M1, rotates the culture medium 15 held in each cylindrical body 16 in a rotation control pattern via the power transmission part 17a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
