PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle in which intruding water can be discharged to the outside of electronic equipment by inserting a plug.SOLUTION: A receptacle 10 of electronic equipment 50 is connected to a plug 20. A shell 13 of the receptacle 10 is disposed such that a gap Sb intercommunicating with the outside is generated between the shell 13 and a housing 51. A space S exists between the shell 13 and a contact portion 122 of an internal housing 12. A gap Sa in which one piece of the shell 22 is inserted till a predetermined position exists between the principal surface P22 of the contact portion 122 and the shell 13. The shell 13 has a hole 132 formed in an area confronting the principal surface P22. The gap Sb and the gap Sa intercommunicate with the hole 132 under the state that the shell 13 is disposed in the housing. When the shell 22 is inserted till the predetermined position, the side surface P11 and the tip portion 221 of the shell 22 confront each other. A hole 132 is provided to an area where the tip portion 221 is located when the shell 22 is inserted till the predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
