PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when an amorphous thin film semiconductor is used as a transistor constituting an amplification circuit, a voltage always continues to be applied between sources and gates of the transistor, and thereby a threshold voltage of the transistor varies and a signal voltage varies, in an image sensor in which amplification circuits are arranged in each pixel.SOLUTION: An image sensor controls a gate-source potential of a TFT constituting an amplification circuit so that a gate terminal voltage becomes smaller than a source terminal voltage for an integration period during which a pixel stores a signal, and so that the gate terminal voltage becomes larger than the source terminal voltage for a reading period during which the pixel outputs the signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
