PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-part car body structure of an automobile that secure a load absorption amount of a center pillar and prevents overload input to a weld zone of a pillar end so as to prevent the weld zone of a pillar end of a pillar inner panel from peeling owing to a side collision load.SOLUTION: A pillar inner panel 14 is provided with a weld zone SW12 of a pillar end which has a ridge part X1 extended substantially vertically from at least one of a roof side rail and a side sill 9 and where the pillar inner panel 14 is welded to the pillar outer panel or the side sill 9 or a roof-side rail, and a substantially flat load transmission suppression part 18, which is wider in a vehicle front-rear direction than a vertically center-side region of the center pillar 12 and substantially flat, opposite the ridge part X1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
