PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an image recognition rate by changing a parameter promptly and appropriately without being affected by a transmission delay of the image coding stream, in an image receiving device which performs image recognition for a decoded image obtained by decoding a received image coding stream.SOLUTION: The image receiving device includes: a data reception unit; a parameter change unit; a decoding unit; and an image recognition unit. The data reception unit receives the image coding stream which includes image coding data and a parameter. The parameter change unit changes a parameter received by the data reception unit, namely, a parameter designated in accordance with coding performed at a transmission side, into a value suitable for image recognition processing to be executed at a subsequent stage. The decoding unit, by applying the changed parameter, decodes the received image coding data to generate image-decoded data, and performs image recognition processing for the image-decoded data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
