PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference with the periphery, by arranging an appearance.SOLUTION: A robot on the present embodiment comprises a turning base, a lower arm, an upper arm, a space and a wiring member. The turning base is turnably connected around a first shaft to a base fixed to an installation surface. The lower arm is rotatably connected around a second shaft substantially vertical to the first shaft in a base end part to the turning base. The upper arm is rotatably connected around a third shaft substantially parallel to the second shaft in the base end part to the lower arm. The space is formed on the inside of such the lower arm along the extension direction of the lower arm.
